I played hockey as a youngster for 10 years and have coached it several times since. I've been an avid hockey fan my whole life and started the Calgary Flames focused blog "Five Hole Fanatics" more than 3 years ago. I have written more than 500 pieces on the Flames and NHL hockey since.
