Who’ll wear a Blue Jacket: Hitchcock, Quinn, or Murray?
NHL.com columnist Larry Wigge reports, that Ken Hitchcock, Pat Quinn, and Andy Murray are all on the Columbus Blue Jackets wish list for the head coaching position.
According to Wigge, Jackets owner John H. McConnell and is taking a “hands-on approach” to the hiring of the team’s next bench boss. He will actually conduct the interviews with potential coaching candidates.
“McConnell’s wish list” includes Hitchcock, who was recently fired by the Philadelphia Flyers, Quinn who let go by the Toronto Maple Leafs once last season ended, and Murray, who was canned by the Los Angeles Kings after last season.
