Hossa Out At Least A Week!!!
TSN is reporting that Marian Hossa injured his knee in the Pittsburgh Penguins game against the Boston Bruins, a game in which the Pens also lost 5-1.
Hossa was playing in his first game as a Penguin, the report is that Marian should miss about a week. Maybe Hossa will return to the lineup at the same time Sidney Crosby. The Penguins have been playing well of late without Hossa or Crosby as Evgeni Malkin has picked up the slack.
It’s been two days since the Pens acquired Hossa from the Atlanta Thrashers, and it was Marian’s first game as a Pen when he went down, I’m sure that all the Penguins fans as well as the Penguins management had a heart attack when they saw Hossa go down.
In the Penguins first game with Hossa in the lineup, they lost 5-1, is this a sign, or maybe it’s a tell-tale that it will take a while to reset the lineup to fit in Marian.
The Pittsburgh fans will surely breathe a sigh of relief when Crosby and now Hossa come back and help the team be better than they were without them… Wait a minute, the team was good without them…

Tough break for the Pens and Hossa.
Hopefully he’ll only be out for a week as it is being reported.
