Huet Goes To Washington

The Montreal Canadiens have traded goalie Christobal Huet to the Washington Capitals for a second round pick.

With this trade the Habs trade away three million dollars of salary, but only get a draft pick? Huet may not be the best goalie in the league but, he is pretty good, so that leads the fans to ponder. With the Habs freeing 3 million in salary, does this mean that they now have the cap space to acquire Marian Hossa of the Atlanta Thrashers and sign him? Will the Habs replace Huet with another goalie, or will they use Jarosalv Halak which they recalled to the big club today?

The Habs have also recalled forward Mikhail Grabovski, which suggests that maybe another trade is in the works.
