I'm not entirely sure Jagr will be in the Rangers' plans next season... I also don't see them acquiring another center, even if it would help Jagr. Personally, I think Jagr is keeping something in the tank for the playoffs...

I don't think Rucinsky signing with the Blues, either. And, IMO, he's probably not going to get any substantial offers from other NHL teams.

So, yeah, I can definitely see Rucinsky playing in the Czech Republic next season.

As for going back to the Rangers, I think it would make more sense for them to try and re-acquire Nylander from the Caps. Jagr really misses Nylander.

Considering the coaching staff will be benching him for the rest of the season in favour of younger players, Rucinsky is likely not holding the cards in this one...

I think he'll get signed somewhere, but in a third to fourth line capacity as he nears the twillight of his career.

Personally, I'd rather see him go back to the Czech Republic and play in Extraliga, as many players are doing towards the end of their playing careers. It props up the leagues, and generates revenues for the local development systems, which in turn produces better NHL prospects later on...

Of course, I'd also welcome him in NYR...
