Heatley seeking $7-7.7 per year?
Erin Nicks of the Ottawa Sun writes in her blog that Ottawa Senators forward Dany Heatley wants to sign a long-term deal with his current club.
According to Nicks’s sources, the pending unrestricted free agent forward is looking for a seven-year deal paying him between $49-54 million.
Nicks notes that while the term of the deal is a “a bit much,” getting the All-Star forward and back-to-back 50 goal-scorer signed to $7-7.7 seams like a good deal.
