Sundin Interested In Montreal?

RDS, if you listen to ” le baron en liberte “, in the ” zone video ” the whole thing, you will hear that seemingly Yvon Pednault has suggested that Mats Sundin has perhaps manifested some interest in playing for the Montreal Canadiens.

Of course this is only from one source. I am trying to find out more.

But, if this is the case, should the Habs be able to sign him, it would solve some of their problems for at least two years.

Sundin still has one good year, and one half decent year. Sundin’s good year would be one with the Habs centennial.

It wouldn’t matter on what line he could play, I’m sure the coaching staff, as well as the players would be more than happy to accommodate him.

And what would be said of Bob Gainey, who some questioned if he had the intestinal fortitude to be a gm in Montreal, they would be put to shame.

As I said, as of now I can’t confirm this, but hopefully….
