The Montreal Canadiens have played their young talent for all of the pre-season games. The youngsters played so well that there are rumours that the Habs could be preparing a trade or two.

The Boston Bruins lost Manny Fernandez to 78 games last season after the goalie had knee surgery. Tim Thomas did admirably filling in for the injured veteran, but the Bruins need Fernandez back not only for this season but to mold future Boston goalies.

The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 in overtime tonight at the Bell Centre, in doing so the Habs take game no.1 and lead the series 1-0.

The Montreal Canadiens will play the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round of the play-offs, this after the Flyers beat the Washington Capitals in overtime 3-2 tonight to take the series 4-3.

The Montreal Canadiens beat the Boston Bruins 5-0 at the Bell Centre tonight, in doing so the Habs also take the series 4-3, the fans finally saw the real Habs.

The Montreal Canadiens once again lost to the Boston Bruins, this time 5-4 in Boston. Saku Koivu, and Francis Bouillon both came back tonight, it seemed to spark the Habs, obviously not enough.
