Why were the Flyers willing to deal Jeff Carter? Will Blue Jackets re-sign Michael Peca? Will Ryan Miller play for the Red Wings in 2009-10? Should the Maple Leafs buy out Darcy Tucker? Which teams may want to sign Jaroslav Halak to offer sheets? Are Glen Murray’s days with the Bruins numbered? Is Paul Ranger an untouchable in Tampa Bay?
Well, my post-Montreal collapse predictions weren’t so crazy after all eh? The Rangers are 3-0 since their OTL in Montreal, and to my credit I predicted 3 wins, but only the 5-0 win over Florida at the Garden counts as a “spanking.” We are now into March on the calendar. All that starts Sunday @ the Garden when the Blueshirts have a brunch with the Flyers at 12:30 on NBC. But enough looking ahead, here are my notes and thoughts on last night’s 4-2 win in Raleigh.
