Attitude Adjustments, du Jour

”Goaltending is a normal job, sure. How would you like it in your job if every time you made a small mistake, a red light went on over your desk and 15,000 people stood up and yelled at you.” – Jacques Plante

Pittsburgh Penguins Face Inevitable Change

With the recent losing streak the Pittsburgh Penguins have been on, it is no surprise that everyone is looking to GM Ray Shero to make some moves to help the team get out of the midseason slump they are in.

Pittsburgh Penguins season preview

Penguins’ GM Ray Shero was one busy man this offseason, replacing several key members of the Eastern Conference champs, such as Marian Hossa, Ryan Malone, Gary Roberts, Ty Conklin and Jarkko Ruutu. Penguins free agency preview

Dave Molinari of Pittsburgh Post Gazette takes a look close at the Pittsburgh Penguins pending unrestricted free agents and where they fit with the club.

Ryder, and the Penguins

Are the Rangers interested in Michael Ryder? Have Jarkko Ruutu and Gary Roberts really asked for trades out of Pittsburgh?

Penguins, Marleau, Giroux, Blue Jackets, Jagr, Ducks, Okposo, and Orpik

Have a couple of Penguins asked for trades out of town? Are the Sharks still looking to deal Patrick Marleau? Can Ray Giroux get back into the NHL in the off-season? Which players might the Blue Jackets move if they fall out of the playoff race? Could the red Wings end up with Jaromir Jagr? What other deals were the Ducks working on before moving Andy McDonald? Is Kyle Okposo close to becoming an NHLer? Which Penguins defenseman might the Hurricanes have some interest in?

With Recchi gone, who’s next to leave Pittsburgh?

With former Penguins forward Mark Recchi being claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Thrashers Saturday, rumors are starting to circulate on who may be the next player to be dealt out of Pittsburgh.

Roberts, Hall, Malkin & Jagr, the Penguins, Danis, and Rivers

Will the Penguins try to re-sign Gary Roberts? Is Adam Hall going to stick with the Penguins? Are the Penguins considering a Evgeni Malkin for Jaromir Jagr swap with the Rangers? Do the Penguins need to get a winger for Sidney Crosby? Will the Canadiens’ Yann Danis and Jamie Rivers get claimed off waivers?
