On the plus side, highly touted prospect Kyle Okposo made his NHL debut and acquitted himself well, showing glimpses of his vast potential in the 3-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. On the negative slant, the team revealed that All Star goalie Rick Dipietro will undergo his second operation in two years on his injured hip, certainly ringing warning bells among the Islander faithful.
