The Chicago Tribune’s Chris Kuc reports that Chicago Blackhawks Dale Tallon has contacted the Anaheim Ducks to inquire about which players are available for trade.
Randy Youngman of the Orange County Register reports that the Anaheim Ducks are exploring a number of possibilities to trim payroll so they can fit defenseman Scott Niedermayer under the salary cap.
Eric Stephens of the Los Angeles Times reports that a number of Anaheim Ducks players find themselves on the trade block.
Should defenseman Scott Niedermayer return to action this season, Eric Duhatschek of The Globe and Mail reports that the Anaheim Ducks will have to shed some payroll to fit him under the salary cap.
