Either way, it was a great way to pass the TV timeout (back then, some Centre Ice games didn't have commercials, so you stayed live at the rink...) As a hockey purist I still think it's a gimmick to attract marginal hockey fans to games. People should be going tot he rink for the game, not the sideshow. Still, as a dude, I have no complaints about hot women in skimpy outfits. I wish the Leafs would get their own crew down here in Toronto! ;) Yeah, I can see how one might think I was complaining about the Ice Girls after reading my post.
