Glad to see you recognize Avery’s value to his team, but let me ask you one thing:

How do you know there is a 50/50 split among his teammates?

According to everything I’ve read about the Rangers (and being a fan, that’s a lot), the room is undivided when it comes to Avery – they all think he’s a great teammate.

Also, you kind of make it sound like Avery’s a big cheap-shot artist when you say “At least Sean Avery didn’t go out because of a vicious hit from behind, which he has also done a little of”…

I don’t recall him being suspended too often. Clearly he plays on the edge, but rarely crosses over it… He’s never been suspended, which leads me to believe he’s within the rules…
