Of course he could end up in Montreal, but at present, there haven’t been a lot of rumours about that floating around, at least in national media outlets. Maybe there’s some buzz in Montreal? If so, I would likely have heard it from my buddy who is also Czech and follows these things.

However, I wouldn’t mind seeing him in Montreal, just to have the priviledge of watching him play 8 times against the shitty Senators…lol

I don’t mind the Habs. Just don’t think they’re really as good as the fans think most of the time. Were fun to watch this season, especially their powerplay.

He might end up in Montreal Dan. With players like Plekanec, and Hamrlik, who know’s what could happen, depending on his salary, I’d love for him to finish his career here.

I will hate the Leafs no matter if Jagr goes there or not. I don’t see it happening. He’s also been quietly saying that he wants to remain in a Rangers uniform, but of course, they have salary issues to examine…

I don’t really care what the Rangers GM says. They’re all full of the same bullshit, no matter what really happened. He’ll say everything we already know, that officiating sucked and Avery was hurt, like you mockingly said… lol… But that’s the same to me across the board.

I’d like to hear Sather say : Lundqvist wasn’t good enough until the last two games, and the Gomez line was invisble. He should donate some of his salary we shelled out for him to charity, or to next year’s Jagr cap space.

Contractually hard to work out, but is it illegal for Gomez to just GIVE Jagr money next season? Then Jagr could sign for less, and still get hella cash… Kinda like Washington paying his salary the last few seasons…

I can’t wait to hear what your gm will say, the referees were garbage, Avery was hurt, everyone was keying in on Jagr, boo-hoo! By the way, Jagr said in a press conference near the end of the season that he would love to play in a big Canadian market to finish his career….. Don’t hate the team that he might play for next season Dan.

They should impose a media blackout for these press conferences. What did either Carbonneau or Gainey say that we didn’t already know? Not much. Just the same old rhetoric from a team that lost in the playoffs. First, you mention what you did well, then you mention what everyone already knows about your positional/roster weaknesses…

Bo-ring.

But, Bryen, thanks for being dilligent with your reporting on your team. Even though I disagree with a lot of it, you have to be admired for your commitment.
